Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding various types of piping systems and must successfully pass a 6G weld certification test. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding on commercial piping systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols
  • Execute high-quality welds using processes such as SMAW (stick), GTAW (TIG), and/or MIG as required
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting pipes to specifications
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
  • Follow all safety regulations and job site protocols
  • Collaborate with supervisors, pipefitters, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Must pass a 6G pipe welding certification test (required)
  • 2+ years of experience as a pipe welder in commercial or industrial construction
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
