Pay:

Up to $29.97 per hour in first30 days

Job Type:

Caterpillar is hiring MIG Welders and Fabrication Specialists for2ndand 3rd shift at our East Peoria manufacturing facility. This is afull-timeproduction welding job offering Day1 benefits, paid weld training, and stronglong-termstability.

Pay and Shift Details

  • Up to $24.97 per hour base pay, based on experience

  • $1.00 per houroff shiftpremium

  • $4.00 per hour retention bonus during training

  • 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift available

  • Training completed on 1st shift for the first 4 to 5 weeks

What You Will Do

  • Perform MIG welding and GMAW welding on steel components

  • Weld plain and alloy steelin all positions

  • Operate robotic welding equipmentin a production environment

  • Follow standard work, safety procedures, and quality requirements

  • Performcarbon arc cutting and gouging

  • Useoverhead cranes and jib cranes to position materials

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year of production MIG or GMAW welding experience

  • Experience welding steel 1/2 inch thickness or greater

  • Basic computer skills

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass Caterpillar weld qualification testing

  • Ability to work2nd or 3rd shiftand overtime as needed
