Pipe Fitter/Welder/Foreman
Location: Orlando, FL 32802
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder/Foreman to join our team in Orlando, FL area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipe fitting and welding, combined with leadership experience to oversee and coordinate job site activities. This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely project completion.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise pipe fitting and welding crews on various construction and maintenance projects.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
Perform pipe fitting and welding tasks including cutting, threading, assembling, and installing piping systems.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
Inspect work for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
Train and mentor junior pipe fitters and welders.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Document daily work activities, progress, and any issues encountered on site.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a pipe fitter and welder in industrial or commercial settings.
Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role preferred.
Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
