Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Gurnee, IL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Flux core welding on tanks
  • Read blueprints
  • Join metal pieces using heat & pressure
  • Measure, cut, bend, fit & finish metal in 1G, 2G, and 3G positions
  • Perform fabrication work in a shop environment

Responsibilities

  • Must have verifiable flux core welding and fabrication experience and be proficient in 1G, 2G, and 3G welding positions, including flat, horizontal, and vertical
  • Standard hand tools
  • Welding mask, gloves, and steel toe boots
