Location: Sylacauga, AL
Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Operator Weld in our Sylacauga, Alabama Stamping Facility. The Weld Operator is responsible for operating the Robot Weld Cell and producing quality parts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience reviewing part specifications and defects, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary Responsibilities:
  • Document and report inventory
  • Complete required documentation during/ prior to end of shift
  • Maintain & improve housekeeping within work area
  • Other duties assigned by the management team

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to meet quota and standardsby performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to retain information and communicate effectively
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Able to work all shifts: Midnights, Days, Afternoons

Preferred Requirements:
  • Mechanically inclined
