Host/Hostess

Job Description:

A busy restaurant group located in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess to greet and seat guests. Experience in the restaurant industry is a MUST for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

- Greet guests as they arrive and ensure they feel welcomed.

- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.

- Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless service.

- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant and menu.

- Assist with guest inquiries and accommodate special requests.

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area. In addition to, regularly checking restrooms and replenishing paper goods as needed.

- Ensure a smooth and efficient seating process, balancing guest preferences with operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a host/hostess in a high-volume restaurant.
