Job description

Description:

Title: Saturday Welcome Host, Bon Bon Belle

At Bon Bon Belle, we care deeply about helping individuals find their perfect gown, and that all begins with the first smile they see and warm welcome they hear when they walk in. As the store's welcome host, every bride's best shopping day ever begins with you! When you ask their name, show interest in their wedding plans, and welcome their party with comfort and care, you set up every appointment for success.

We are a non-judgment store: that means no meanies, no judgies, no drama, and no favoritism. We don't do those things here! We exist to help every bride shine while finding and wearing their dream wedding gown, regardless of size, budget, race, or love preference. We care for each other, we support our brides, and we love love. That's just how we roll.

What does a welcome host do?

You make the experience complete:

  • Greet customers in a timely manner and ensure all customers are taken care of.
  • Answer phones and reply to customer questions.
  • Offer every customer and their guests a warm welcome by checking them in and offering drinks and treats to every group.
  • Support Bridal Stylists by entering note sheets and tracking gowns tried on during appointments.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment by keeping fitting rooms/suites clean of gowns and accessories.
  • Daily housekeeping and general upkeep of the store.
  • Positively contribute to our store's appearance.
  • You set the tone for every bride's experience!

Why should you choose Bon Bon Belle?

  • Gorgeous Vibes Only: You’ll be working in a seriously stunning space—think dreamy dresses, chic decor, and all the bridal excitement you can handle.
  • Your Work Besties Await: Our team is very selective and only contains total gems. We are supportive, fun, and just the right amount of yapping.
  • No Late Nights: Our weekend hours (Fri–Sun) close before 6pm, leaving your social life still intact.
  • Treat Yourself (on the regular): You get 20% off everything in-store. Yes, even that necklace you’ve been eyeing.
  • Weddings = Never Boring: This industry is pure magic. Who doesn't love gorgeous gowns, happy tears, and major "say yes!" moments?
  • On the Up & Up: We’re growing fast, which means your career can, too. Let’s glow up together.

The Pay:

  • Compensation: $15/hour
  • Benefits: Employee discount

The Details:

  • Job Type: Part-time (Saturdays only!)
  • Work Location: Bon Bon Belle – Port Washington
Requirements:

Who we are:

  1. Our Mission: Make Other People Shine
  2. Our Core Values:
  • CARE: We care first for each other, then customers
  • SERVICE: We wow our customers with service and hospitality
  • PROCESS: We follow repeatable systems to ensure consistently excellent experiences for our customers and co-workers
  • IMPROVEMENT: We constantly improve and raise the bar on our service experience, our facility, our brand, ourselves

Who do you have to be?

This role is tailored to be an amazing first job or an entry point to bridal styling for students in High School or College with no Saturday conflicts. However, we consider all applicants, so if that's not you, we can't wait to see your application! :)

  • Someone who is in school or has a part-time or full-time job that offers the flexibility to work at our store every Saturday
  • Lives within 30 minutes of the store
  • Loves all things bridal
  • Happy being on their feet at work
  • Comfortable interacting with guests and colleagues regularly
  • Interested in becoming a Bridal Stylist at Bon Bon Belle in the future

Strong in the following skills:

  • Customer service
  • Multitasking
