Job description

Job Title: Welcome Center Staff

FLSA Status: Part time

Reports to: Member Services Coordinator

Hourly Rate: $11.00 per hour


POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Member Services Coordinator and Membership Director, this position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving Welcome Center services and systems. The position serves members and guests, maintains member service control, answers the telephone, answers member questions and performs various clerical duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serving the member is our first priority, the purpose of our work, and the key to our success!

ยท Performs front desk processes, policies, procedures and forms.

ยท Provides maintenance of member accounts.

ยท Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette and face-to-face interactions with members and prospective members.

ยท Provides facility tours.

ยท Provides excellent greeting members and prospective members.

ยท Gains proficient use of system software and cash handling procedures

Minimum Position Requirements:

ยท 0-2 Years of customer service experience including supervisory responsibility

ยท Proven ability in showing initiative, good judgment

ยท Ability to make decisions independently

ยท Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

ยท Ability to work with diverse groups of people in a friendly and consistent manner

ยท Basic computer skills.

ยท Must be at least 18 years old.
