Part-Time Office Secretary
Earl J. Weil and Son Plumbing
Earl J. Weil and Son Plumbing is a long-time, family-owned plumbing company built on quality workmanship, dependable service, and strong relationships with our customers. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Office Secretary to join our team.
Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule plumbing service calls and coordinate appointments
  • Assist customers with questions and general inquiries
  • Maintain customer records and work orders
  • Enter and update information in QuickBooks Online
  • Prepare and send customer invoices through QuickBooks Online
  • Record payments and assist with accounts receivable
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Handle general office correspondence, data entry, filing, and paperwork
  • Communicate with technicians and help keep daily schedules organized
  • Provide a welcoming and professional experience for our customers
Requirements
  • Previous experience using QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred
  • Previous office, bookkeeping, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with invoices, payments, customer accounts, and basic bookkeeping
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Friendly, professional, and courteous personality
