Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Reviews batch card, checking raw material status prior to commencing with the preweigh

process.

  • Prepares all necessary paperwork: in process labels, weight sheets for assigned batch to be
  • Ensures accuracy of weighed of raw materials and in accordance with batch card requirements
  • Responsible for recording inventory movement locations of raw materials.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing department equipment and components.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of production lines and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
  • Verifies the accuracy of weight scales.
  • Adheres to established safety rules and GMP requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 -2 years’ experience working with equipment in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic weights, measurements and math skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
  • Pay rate $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
