Job description

  • Store, locate, gather and sort materials used in furnace operations, taking care to prevent mixing of materials.
  • Gather, weigh and move materials to make up specified furnace charges using wheel barrows, charge pans and a variety of power lifting equipment.
  • Perform routine general labor functions in melt/yard area. Cut scrap pieces to proper size for re-melting.
  • Perform other saw and blasting work as needed.
