Shift and Pay:

1st Shift: 7am to 3pm $18/hr

2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm $19/hr


Overview

The Pre-Weigher is responsible for accurately weighing, dispensing, labeling, and staging raw materials used in the manufacturing of cosmetic and OTC products. This role ensures materials are prepared according to production schedules, batch records, and company procedures while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory accuracy.


Responsibilities

Accurately weigh and dispense raw materials according to batch records and production schedules.

Verify material identity, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates before dispensing.

Label and stage materials for production.

Complete batch records and dispensing documentation accurately.

Maintain inventory accuracy by recording material usage and reporting discrepancies.

Assist with inventory counts and material reconciliation as needed.

Clean and maintain weighing equipment and work areas.

Follow all company safety procedures, cGMP guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or documentation errors to supervision.

Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support manufacturing schedules.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

1–3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.

Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, or other GMP-regulated environments is a plus.

Basic math skills with the ability to accurately weigh and measure materials.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer and data entry experience.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.

Comfortable working around powders, fragrances, chemicals, and manufacturing equipment.

Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).


Nice to Have

More than 1 year of experience weighing, dispensing, or handling raw materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Ability to accurately measuring materials, following batch records, and completing production documentation

More than 1 year of experience working in a GMP, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or other regulated manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work around powders, fragrances, and raw materials while wearing required PPE


Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Exposure to raw materials, powders, fragrances, and production equipment.

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
