Dishwasher Job Description:


We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support the daily operations of our kitchen by maintaining clean and sanitized dishes, cookware, utensils, equipment, and work areas. This position includes operating commercial dishwashing equipment, washing pots and pans, organizing and returning clean items, removing trash, maintaining the dishwashing station clean and organized, and assisting with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Dishwasher Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work full-time rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Previous experience as a Dishwasher, Kitchen Dishwasher, Kitchen Porter, Steward, Kitchen Utility Worker, Dishwashing Attendant, or similar food-service position preferred.
  • Ability to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
  • Willingness to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and use cleaning and sanitizing products according to established procedures.
  • Able to maintain the dishwashing station, sinks, floors, equipment, and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and ready for operation.
  • Ability to organize and return clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment to their proper storage areas.
  • Willingness to remove trash, replace liners, and assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation throughout the shift.
  • Able to work efficiently with a sense of urgency during busy service and production periods.
  • Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while supporting the kitchen team.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and remain physically active for extended periods while performing the duties required for the position.
  • Willingness to assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and additional kitchen support duties as needed.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
