Job description

REGISTERED NURSE - PEDIATRIC ACUTE CARE - 24 HOURS WEEKLY - NIGHT SHIFT

Up to $6,000 Sign-on Bonus

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Two 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays

GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. 
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. 
  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. 
  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications - External

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. 
  • Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required. 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: 

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior Pediatric Nursing experience preferred.
