Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Providing service of high-quality meals and with exceptional customer service to the Residents. Must implement proper food handling and cleaning techniques to ensure optimal infection control. Conduct oneself in a manner which contributes to an environment conducive to the provisions of quality resident services. Responsible for set-up and cleaning of the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assist food servers with dining services to Residents as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Greeting and seating Residents and Guests.
• Responsible for taking meal/beverage orders and serving requested items according to established policies.
• Maintain all side stations and dining areas using the "clean as you go" policy.
• Assist with special events and functions as needed.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Assist with orientation and training of new food servers.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
• Attend all in-services as required.
• Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.
