Job description

Find your calling at Mercy! The Senior CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Responsibilities include serving as a lead, when leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, assisting in orientation, and training. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care. Position Details: Located at the Mercy Orthopedic Hospital Ozark/Springfield, Missouri Weekend evening CT/XR role at the South ER Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and the required clinical hours have been completed. Experience: 2 years of relevant experience Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) ; Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate a team Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills. Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
