At St. Luke's Medical Center Emergency Department, patient's receive emergency treatment for life-threatening injuries, illnesses and other acute medical conditions. Our emergency department is committed to providing timely evaluation and care when patients need it most.

We're open 24 hours every day of the year and will treat children and adults of all ages. Our care teams focus on quickly understanding your symptoms and determining the next steps in your care. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, we provide the highest level of emergency room care.

Licensure or Certifications

  • License/Registration/Certification: IL locations-LSW Eligible, LCSW preferred issued by the State of Illinois

  • Deliver comprehensive social work support by conducting psychosocial assessments, identifying patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions, follow-up care, and discharge planning.
