) Receptionist - Every Other Weekend
At RYZE on the Avenue, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing exceptional customer service to our visitors, residents, and staff.
Summary:
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and obtaining information from the general public, residents, visitors, and other interested parties. You will be the first point of contact for our facility and will be responsible for greeting all visitors, answering phone calls, and directing or escorting them to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls, providing information and taking messages
  • Greet all visitors entering the facility and direct or escort them to their destinations
  • Assist residents, family members, employees, and visitors as needed
  • Keep the front desk and front office clean and organized, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and easily accessible
  • Order office supplies as needed to ensure proper par levels
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access to the facility
  • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondences appropriately
  • Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, couriers, equipment, and ensure that they are distributed to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Report any issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing, data entry, and making phone calls for department heads upon request
  • May have to accept phone calls intended for LTC as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise
