Skills and Knowledge:
  • Animal Handling: Experience with safe and humane capture, handling, and restraint techniques for various wildlife species.
  • Wildlife Knowledge: Strong understanding of local wildlife species, their habitats, and ecological roles.
  • Fieldwork Skills: Experience conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring populations
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with using GPS units, one ways, and other field equipment.

Requirements:

  • Job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling
  • Extended hours and weekends when necessaryWork in a safe manner in accordance with state requirements, OSHA policies and procedures, and maintaining and utilizing required safety equipment when performing duties.
