Job description

We are seeking an experienced Tank / Welding Foreman to join our team. You will help drive high-quality and on-schedule Tanks completions through efficient management of people and equipment of exciting industrial construction projects across the nation. Come help us build America!

RESPONSIBILITIES
SAFETY
• Model and ensure safe work practices at all times, compliant with GBI and customer requirements
PEOPLE
• Provide daily leadership and focus on strong work ethic and positive morale for crew.
• Handling of relevant employee discipline and/or coaching needs in a timely manner.
• Daily recognition of employee accomplishments.
PROCESS
• Ensure job site organization and housekeeping goals are met.
• Ensure adherence to all company and customer policies and procedures by crew.
PRODUCTION
• Help drive crew productivity
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience construction tanks
  • Strong safe work performance including use of proper PPE and adherence to company safety policies.
  • Current TWIC card
  • Proven history of dependable work practices and strong work ethic
  • Certification in forklift and crane operation as well as welding techniques
  • Ability to multi-task and to work independently and with minimal direction
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and in-person using English language
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and travel as required.
  • Ability to routinely perform physical duties including but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, standing and walking for periods of time, working in confined spaces, and occasional work in inclement weather.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing as well as pre-employment physical and background check.
