Entry Level & Skilled Welders | Hurricane, UT


Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team in Hurricane, Utah. This is a long-term opportunity with a reputable company that values craftsmanship, consistency, and a strong work ethic.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in fabrication, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. If you take pride in clean, precise welds and enjoy working with a team that prioritizes safety and quality, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, section views, and welding symbols accurately
  • Operate shop equipment and follow established welding procedures
  • Fabricate parts and assemblies according to detailed drawings and specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with the Shop Superintendent and team members


Qualifications

  • Must pass a 2G weld test (administered in-house) by the third day
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols
  • Must provide own tools: tape measure, square, hammer, welding helmet, and steel-toe boots
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Reliable transportation required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of production welding experience OR equivalent technical training
    • (1 year of school = 1 year of experience)
  • Familiarity with AWS and AISC standards


Pay

$17.50 โ€“ $24.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Swing Shift | Mondayโ€“Friday | 2:30 PM โ€“ 12:00 AM

Day-shift training provided prior to moving to swing shift
