What You'll Do
  • Achieve the goal of zero accidents by using all protective equipment assigned and suggest safety improvements
  • Produce fabricated pieces in line with customer orders and ensure that parts fit within specified parameters via testing and/or quality control checks
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
  • Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
  • Maintain all tools, machines, and supplies in good, safe working order Report any issues or discrepancies immediately

What You'll Need
  • Two plus years of layout and welding experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with production goals
  • Ability to read and understand weld symbols, pre-qualified weld designations, and Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
  • Use of judgment to sequence welds in order to maximize efficiency and minimize weld distortion

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
