As a Breakfast Attendant @ the SpringHill Suites Bozeman Hotel, you will prepare the breakfast buffet bar for hotel guests while greeting and serving them in a friendly manner, consistent with brand and/or hotel sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest!


Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the daily service hours 

• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty the garbages 

• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly 

• Address guest questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently 

• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment 

• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, and/or trays 

• Fill beverage dispensers 

• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers 

• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction 

• Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment 

• Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Level5 High Touch service 

• Flexibility with shifts and scheduling 

• Must be available some weekends and/or holidays 

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work 

• Must have stellar attendance and punctuality

Education and Experience:

 • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification 

• Experience working in food service is preferred (WA Food Handlers permit required)

• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality 

• Outstanding time management and organizational skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift. 

• Must be able to access and navigate the facility. 

• Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment. 

• Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
