About the Role: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse while leading the warehouse and delivery team to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate material distribution, and timely deliveries. This role plays a key part in supporting company operations by maintaining an organized warehouse, optimizing processes, and collaborating with multiple departments to meet the needs of both internal teams and customers. Warehouse Lead Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the warehouse and delivery team to ensure efficiency and organization.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to improve warehouse processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage all product returns and ensure accurate processing.
  • Assist with deliveries when business needs require.
  • Develop and implement methods to reduce operational costs while improving workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure inventory is properly received, inspected, organized, and stored in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by replenishing stock and coordinating inventory movement.
  • Assist with warehouse and technician vehicle inventory counts and audits.
  • Manage company tool check-out procedures and maintain accountability of equipment.
  • Establish efficient delivery routes and transportation schedules.
  • Train, coach, and support Warehouse Associates and Delivery Drivers.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and team performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, inventory documentation, and reporting.
  • Foster a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Work collaboratively with purchasing, operations, service, and installation departments to support daily business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Lead Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience (required).
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing 80+ pounds.
