Job description

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor Delivery Driver with a Box Truck in our Mobile, AL market for dedicated lanes. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!
As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries on a multi-stop route in and around the Mobile market. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:
  • Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated stores
  • Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
  • Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
  • Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
  • Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
  • Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
