Job Overview:

Select Event Group is a highly respected event rental company. Partnering with the regions and nations most successful event professionals, Select is dedicated to building long term relationships based on operational excellence and a commitment to our Clients success. Select provides the widest and deepest array of event rental products and services available to event professionals. We currently have an opening for a delivery driver assistant for our Rentals, Linens and Furnishings Division. The driver assistant primarily assists drivers in locating customer sites and the loading and unloading of equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Following the best practices for safety, while on the road and loading and unloading a truck
  • Clearly communicate directions to the driver
  • Provide directional assistance when parking delivery truck
  • Communicating with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries
  • Loading, securing, and unloading cargo
  • Organizing and inspecting items onsite
  • When necessary, setup/breakdown of equipment
  • Assist with delivery documentation or other information
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
