Job description

Job Overview:

Select Event Group is a highly respected event rental company. Partnering with the regions and nations most successful event professionals, Select is dedicated to building long term relationships based on operational excellence and a commitment to our Clients success. Select provides the widest and deepest array of event rental products and services available to event professionals. Warehouse Associates are part of a team responsible for the loading, unloading of trucks as well as the stocking and storing of production items in our warehouse for our Tents, Structures and Flooring division under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and/or the Internal Operations Assistant Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Following the best practices for safety
  • Assist with the organizing of equipment and supplies
  • Receive incoming shipments of new products
  • Conduct equipment quality control inspections
  • Pulling equipment out of inventory and tagging for needed repair
  • Assists with the pulling, staging of outgoing equipment according to work order and/or packaging lists
  • Assist with the organized loading of delivery trucks
  • Assists with the off-loading of returning equipment
  • Assist with the restocking of equipment
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Forklift experience is a plus
