Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ year experience required with NICU experience and proficiency with 0-6mo required.

Required Credentials: - AHA or ARC certifications required. - Associate degree or certificate required.

Unit Details: - Provides emergency services for rapid response and Code Blue. - Basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment with assess and treat protocols, care for all age groups, ABG draws, EKGs, and holter/event monitoring. - Uses V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 vents, AVEA ventilators, and VOCSN ventilators.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every weekend contract. - Every other holiday. - Call on weekends; may be placed on call for low census hours. Call-back minimum is 2 hours.

Floating Requirements: - Supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
