  • Paramedic: $10,000 Retention Bonus
  • Paramedic with IBSC Certification: $12,000 Retention Bonus

Schedule Options
  • 12-hour shifts

Expected Hours: 36-48 hours per week

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced prehospital patient care and emergency medical treatment
  • Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Safely operate ambulances during emergency and non-emergency responses
  • Communicate effectively with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and first responders
  • Utilize advanced life support equipment and monitoring devices
  • Complete accurate electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
  • Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
  • Adhere to company policies, clinical protocols, and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current Texas DSHS Paramedic Certification
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • IBSC Certification
  • Previous 911 or critical care transport experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 150 pounds independently and up to 300 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to perform duties in varying weather conditions and high-stress environments
