Job Title

Float Pool And Workforce Informatics Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, within Nursing Service on the Flow and Support Unit.

Role Description

The Float Pool And Workforce Informatics Registered Nurse (RN) serves in a unique combined clinical and informatics role, functioning as both a frontline bedside nurse and a workforce technology specialist. On the clinical side, the RN floats across a variety of inpatient and 24/7 settings, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. On the informatics side, the RN serves as a key administrator and subject matter expert for the Clairvia workforce management system, developing staffing methodologies, analyzing workforce data, and training staff and leadership across the facility. Through this dual focus, the RN optimizes staffing efficiency, improves scheduling processes, and supports workload accuracy, ensuring nursing teams have the resources needed to deliver quality patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about direct patient care and leveraging technology and data to enhance how nursing teams are staffed, supported, and set up for success.
