Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will collaborate closely with other Warehouse Associates, Receiving Inspection, Branches and Planners to ensure material requirements are met accurately and on time.

Essential Functions

  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Check, verify and fill out customer invoices
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Might use material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching and lifting required
  • Assists other warehouse associates as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • At least one-year previous warehouse experience
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience of, or exposure to, a similar production/manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Suite
  • Current forklift certification
  • At least one year's previous experience with hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
