Location: Fort Wainwright, AK
Salary: $46,060 - $74,173 per year (Plus 1.49% COLA)

What You Will Do:
Thrive in an environment where your voice makes the difference:
  • Receive, evaluate, and prioritize 911 emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Dispatch and coordinate law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS).
  • Provide life-saving Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) instructions to callers.
  • Monitor the real-time status of responding units to ensure rapid, appropriate responses.

What You Need:
  • Experience: At least 1 year of specialized dispatching/emergency response experience (or qualifying college education for GS-05 level).
  • Availability: Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime (Mission Essential position).
  • Drive: Must be able to obtain and maintain required dispatch certifications within 1 year of employment.
  • Note: This position requires a completed background investigation.
