Qualifications:
  • A qualified candidate will have previous experience supporting Hadoop as a database administrator
  • Candidate should have experiecne troubleshooting and providing incident management across the Hadoop, Linux, Apache, Hive, HBase, Solr set of tools.
  • Previous experience with Hive / Impala
  • Previous experience with HBase
  • Previous experience with Solr
  • Previous experience supporting Apache/Linux based platforms

  • Significant duties and responsibilities for this assignment:
  • Protects data and resources from accidental or intentional disclosure, modification and destruction by unauthorized personnel
  • Develops, follows, and/or implements security/directory policies, strategies, guidelines, standards and procedures.
  • Performs research on security/directory technologies and tools, designs and implements security architecture, implements and upgrades products, and utilization of project methodology is beneficial.
