Job description

We are seeking a dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officer to protect an industrial outdoor storage facility and distribution site. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive patrols, access control, surveillance, and incident response.

Position: Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Downey, CA.
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Morning, swing, and graveyard shifts
Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct foot patrols throughout the property.
  • Monitor gate access.
  • Maintain detailed incident and activity reports.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, suspicious activity, emergencies, and security incidents.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
  • Coordinate with site management and law enforcement when necessary.
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility.

Requirements: 
  • Valid Security Guard License (required). 
  • Minimum 2 years security experience preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and strong report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Experience securing industrial facilities, warehouses, logistics centers, distribution facilities, or container yards.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily outdoors and requires frequent walking/ foot patrols across a large industrial property. Officers should be prepared to work in all weather conditions and during day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
Working Hours:
  • Part-time position.

Compensation:
  • Hourly rate.
  • Bi-weekly pay schedule.
