Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer โ€“ Overnight
Location: Suffolk, VA
Maximal Security Services LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Suffolk, Virginia.
This is a full-time overnight position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.
Schedule
  • Monday โ€“ Friday
  • 11:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM
  • 40 hours per week
Pay
$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
  • Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Control access and verify identification when required.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), patrol scans, and incident reports using the company's mobile reporting application.
  • Follow all site-specific post orders and company policies.
  • Notify supervisors and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Qualifications
  • Active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer Registration, or the ability to obtain one if required for the assignment.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Smartphone capable of using the company's reporting application.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and dependable attendance.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass any required background check and pre-employment screening.
  • Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
