Job description

Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound

Schedule: Every weekend (Friday - Sunday)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience
  • Community hospital experience
  • Required credentials: RDMS (OB) and RDMS (AB)
  • Baseline vascular experience for ER coverage
  • High-volume breast imaging and biopsy experience preferred
  • Compact state license

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound exams, including abdomen and obstetrics.
  • Conduct basic vascular studies for emergency room cases.
  • Provide breast ultrasound and image-guided biopsies as needed.
  • Conduct imaging for pediatric abdomen and pelvis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members in patient care processes.
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
  • Charting system: Epic (experience required).
  • Scrub color: Any color acceptable.
  • Parking: No fee.
  • Background screening required.
