This is a center based role, Monday-Friday, which means NO weekends and NO late nights. In other words, work/life balance! We're also proud to offeran amazing BCBA fieldwork program!

Description:

Provide 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a BCBA. The Behavior Technician will follow individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and family.

Requirements:

  • Must have an Associate's, 60 credits, or Bachelor's degree in a human services related field.

  • Must have 1-2 years of full-time equivalent experience providing ASD treatment services to children.

  • Successful completion and maintenance of Safety Care Training.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Reliable means of transportation, if using own vehicle, must have valid state driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

 Physical Demands:

  • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).

  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.

  • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.).

 Mental Demands:

  • Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members.

  • Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation.

  • Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions.

  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community, Ability to problem solve as well as respond in a proactive and professional manner.
