Job description

USGI is seeking a Technical Typist to provide vital staff support and subject matter expertise to fulfill the multiple mandates and programs on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services for the U.S. government such as the new task assigned to the OSP Biosecurity team to lead efforts to strengthen oversight related to critical life sciences research with potential biosafety and biosecurity implications and the intersection of biosecurity and bioeconomy, and in addition, staff provide support for the monitoring of biosafety practices and containment principles as outlined by the NIH Guidelines.


General Functional Responsibilities: Typing of draft and final technical reports. Responsible for spelling, grammar, formatting, and proofreading final documents.

Minimum General Experience:

  • From one (1) to five (5) years progressive experience in the areas defined below
  • High school graduate or equivalent
