Hiring Pay Ranges: $60,320.00 - $129,480.00 per year
  • Treasury Management Officer I - $60,320.00 - $88,400.00 per year
  • Treasury Management Officer II - $66,560.00 - $97,240.00 per year
  • Treasury Management Officer III - $80,080.00 - $118,040.00 per year
  • Treasury Management Officer IV - $88,400.00 - $129,480.00 per year
    • This position may be eligible to receive and additional $2,080.00 per year if approved for the Spanish Communication Assistant Program.
    • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary
  • Responsible for growing the overall deposit base by offering treasury management solutions which lead to long-term customer relationships consistent with the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Values. Actively makes customer and prospect calls to generate new relationships for the bank. In addition to growing their own portfolio, will interact and support the Banking Officers in procuring commercial deposit relationships and providing the right cash management solutions to the existing and new customers. Work with Treasury Management Assistants to ensure all annual reviews have been completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for expanding the customer and deposit base through networking and sales calling with an emphasis on developing strong relationships. May be required to speak at group functions or events.
  • Responsible for identifying potential solutions to client needs as requested, or as a result of a needs analysis, as well as in partnership with the Banking Officers to support region's deposit growth goals.
  • Identifies and develops profitable cash management account relationships from small to large, complex customers. Identifies opportunities to actively cross-sell banking products and services as appropriate. Oversees the growth of the portfolio through the identification of the business needs, offering of customized client solutions, recommends new products, and utilization of cross-selling activities.
  • Proactively contacts prospective clients obtained through networking, client, bank referrals, and market strategies to develop leads.
  • Consults with prospective customers to identify needs. Develops requests for proposals (RFP) outlining a customized client solution to include competitive pricing, productions, and services. Delivers presentations to customer prospects and company proposals. Negotiates pricing of products and services.
  • Ensures appropriate approval is in place for selected products and ensures ongoing compliance.
  • Performs a variety of sales and marketing functions to include the preparation of account pricing Proforma, proposal documents, Treasury Management Relationship Reviews, and sales presentations.
  • Develops new cash management business, managing all elements of the sales cycle to include business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, and opening of relationship.
  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive sales proposals and presentations to customers in addition to participating and leading product training for various audiences.
  • Provides recommendations to existing customers on enhancements to existing product portfolio ensuring a competitive advantage. Identifies opportunities to actively cross-sell products and services as appropriate.
  • Serves as a liaison between the bank and customers regarding issue resolution, which may be complex in nature relating to products and services.
  • Partners with internal operations to ensure new services are established correctly and timely and that customer issues are addressed in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Maintains knowledge of banking products and services, as well as knowledge of the industries or market areas served. Keeps abreast of current developments and market trends, to further identify and service the customers' needs.
  • Establishes good rapport with customer base. Prioritizes multiple customer demands, handles high level customer service demands, and ensures customer satisfaction by responding to customer needs proactively with precision, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Participates in community involvement activities to enhance Bank's visibility, image, and reputation.
  • Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.

Education and/or Experience
Treasury Management Officer I
  • Minimum of 2 years Treasury Management experience including a track record of meeting sales goals and demonstrated knowledge of cash management products and related business, financial, and risk management processes, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software required. Familiarity with various financial payment software applications preferred.

Treasury Management Officer II
