Pursuit's global treasury team is searching for an experienced, hands-on treasury professional who is ready to take ownership of key processes and help shape how we manage cash and banking across the business. The Senior Treasury Analyst will be a key contributor to Pursuit's corporate finance team, reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager. We are seeking an individual who is looking to learn and grow professionally and personally. Cash is the life blood of any business, and this role will be highly involved in the daily cash desk duties, as well as strategic initiatives to help continue to drive growth in the business. A successful candidate will be proactive, organized and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of work - from identifying the need, to designing the approach and then driving it across the finish line. You will have a passion for continuous improvement, strong data analysis and critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a regular full-time, salaried role with a base salary up to $120,000/year, flex time off within established guidelines, and a comprehensive benefits package

Key responsibilities

  • Own daily cash management activities, including reconciling prior day's cash balances, preparing current day cash position and initiating required payments
  • Monitor and report global cash balances and prepare accurate cash accounting entries
  • Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and that cash is in the rights place to support the business
  • Lead global, short term cash flow forecasting, using historical trends, system data and input from operations and finance teams
  • Analyze forecast variances and make recommendations to improve the forecasting process
  • Track and report on debt instruments, including required principal and interest payments
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to assist in cash reconciliations, month-end close and to resolve cash, banking, and payment issues
  • Maintain and lead day-to-day banking relationships, including acting as one of the company's bank portal administrators
  • Assist with RFP, implementation and ongoing review of treasury products and services
  • Lead documentation management, including signatory updates, bank services changes, and KYC requirements
  • Operate as the subject matter export for, Kyriba, and continuously find ways to maximize the return on the system
  • Work with internal and external auditors to maintain an effective control environment
  • Perform other tasks or special projects as directed

  • You own day-to-day and project work from concept through completion, without needing step-by-step direction
  • You are proactive about "what's next", surfacing ideas and concerns early and brining thoughtful options to discuss with the Senior Treasury Manager
  • You continually look for ways to increase pace and efficiency of daily tasks to create room for higher-impact project work
  • You prioritize your development, identify roadblocks to growth, and partner with the Senior Treasury Manager on how to address them

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
  • Three to five years of progressive finance/treasury experience, with demonstrated ownership of key treasury or cash processes
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • An aptitude for numbers to include first time accuracy and vigilant attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, meet constant deadlines and work with confidential information
  • A self-starter approach with the ability to research problems and complete projects independently
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred but not required
  • Experience with Kyriba or other treasury management systems is highly desirable
