Every 3rd weekend

Job Summary
Support surgical and procedural services by cleaning, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment. Maintain quality and infection prevention standards while ensuring instruments and supplies are available for patient care.
Responsibilities
Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
Assemble routine and specialty instrument trays
Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including steam and low-temperature sterilizers
Perform biological and chemical testing and maintain sterilization records
Inspect instruments and equipment for proper function and damage
Disinfect patient care equipment
Maintain sterile inventory and supply levels
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards
Document sterilization loads, maintenance, and quality assurance activities
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Sterile Processing experience
Previous travel experience
Current CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM) certification

Important Information
Strict attendance policy: Three absences or arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate contract termination, except for approved circumstances such as hospitalization or communicable illness with supporting documentation.

13-week contract

Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
On-call requirement of approximately 4–8 hours per month
