Job Summary:
Aviata Health Group is seeking a compassionate and caring Transportation Aide, to join our team! As a Transportation Aide, you will be responsible for delivering direct care to residents and patients in our skilled nursing facility, providing transportation to doctors' appointments, assisting with daily living tasks, and prioritizing their overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
  • Transport residents to doctors' appointments, activities, and social events
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and conversation to residents
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
  • Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
  • Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room and serving meals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Florida CNA license
  • Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
