Position Overview

Maple Hill Auto Group is seeking a Master Automotive Technician (A-Tech) to join our Service team in VW, Hyundai, Volvo, and Genesis! This skilled craft position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing the most complex vehicle issues while maintaining master-level certifications and serving as a technical resource for other technicians.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair all vehicle issues, including the most complex problems
  • Complete all repairs within manufacturer time guidelines
  • Maintain consistent "Fixed Right First Time" repair quality
  • Serve as technical resource and mentor for other technicians
  • Handle complex diagnostic cases that other technicians cannot resolve
  • Maintain master-level certifications through ongoing education
  • Document all diagnostic steps and repairs with precise detail
  • Achieve and maintain expected flat-rate performance standards
  • Follow and promote all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain expertise in latest vehicle technologies and repair methods
  • Be available for mentorship of Trainee Technicians

Certification & License Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • ASE Master Technician status or Michigan Master Certification Preferred
  • Relevant Brand/OEM Master Certifications maintained Preferred
  • Advanced electrical and diagnostic certification preferred
  • 4+ years' experience as automotive technician preferred
