Description of the Role:

Toyota Service Technicians inspect, repair, and maintain Toyota vehicles. They use diagnostic tools to identify issues, perform routine maintenance, and carry out repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Technicians work on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair brake and steering systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
  • Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
  • Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
  • Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer systems and software
  • Knowledge of automotive service procedures and terminology
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • 2 years in an automotive service environment preferred or automotive school
  • Work requires standing on your feet for long periods of time, walking, working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather, reaching, bending, and getting in and out of all types of vehicles
