Job description

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-service-oriented Wheel Lift Tow Truck Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will operate a light-duty wheel lift tow truck to safely tow vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and perform other roadside services. You will represent our company professionally while providing timely, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a wheel lift tow truck to tow vehicles as needed (accidents, breakdowns, impounds, etc.).

  • Respond to dispatch calls and navigate to service locations efficiently.

  • Secure vehicles for towing, ensuring no damage occurs in transit.

  • Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation accurately (e.g., tow slips, condition reports).

  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring it’s always stocked with necessary tools and equipment.

  • Communicate with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement clearly and professionally.

  • Comply with all DOT and company safety regulations.

  • Perform light roadside assistance such as jump starts, tire changes, and lockouts when needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

  • Clean driving record (MVR check required).

  • Prior towing experience strongly preferred, especially with wheel lift operations.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in all weather conditions.

  • Availability for nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

  • Must pass background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
