Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Tower Crane Operator. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.  

(This description may not include all duties required of this position)

 

  • Operate tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a commercial construction project
  • Interpret and follow all signals
  • Position requires completing daily and weekly inspection and maintenance reports
  • Operates Tower Crane to perform hoisting operations as required by job
  • Must know instrument and control panels
  • Position requires working in all types of weather
  • Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 years Commercial Construction Tower Crane Operator experience preferred
  • Must have current and valid NCCCO certification
  • Familiar with tools
  • Familiar with tools and processes associated with construction site
  • Knowledge of regulations and safety requirements and policies applicable to crane operators
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must fluently speak and write English
  • Ability to read load charts
