Job description

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have openings for a Tool Maker with die mold experience on 1st shift and 2nd shift.

Pay: Starting at $27 hr., based on experience (minimum 5 years); plus a 10%-night shift premium for 2nd shift

Summary of Position: Repairs existing dies and develops, cuts, shapes or forms metal work pieces to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make necessary adjustments to tooling; ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling that is not performing to standards.
  • Works on all conventional machine tools. 
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.
  • Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
  • Responsible for following all safety procedures / regulations and keeping immediate work area clean.
  • Additional projects may be assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Experience:

Minimum five years tool making experience. Must be familiar with precision measuring tools and have the ability to read blueprints.
