ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Key Responsibilities
Assist in issuing, receiving, and tracking tools and equipment
Maintain organized tool storage areas, cribs, and cabinets
Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
Assist toolmakers and maintenance personnel with setup and teardown of tools and dies
Operate basic shop equipment (drill press, grinder, saws) as needed
Monitor tool inventory and report shortages or damaged items
Label, tag, and document tools and components accurately
Support preventive maintenance tasks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Run all production jobs assigned to the Tool Room
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
Ability to read measuring devices (calipers, micrometers preferred but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
Previous manufacturing or tool room experience is a plus
Must be able to speak read and write in English
