Job Description:

The clinical neuropsychologist’s role is to provide outpatient neuropsychological services to patients and families at the University of Toledo Medical Center, including application of neuropsychological procedures for assessment, diagnosis, and education regarding neurocognitive syndromes. Referrals come from any department at UTMC, and from outside facilities as well. The neuropsychologist also acts as an educational and research resource for staff and students of UTMC. The neuropsychologist will also provide supervision of students at UTMC and from other local educational institutions.


Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:

  • Must have a doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology or neuropsychology

  • Must be registered and maintain current licensure from Ohio State Board of Psychology

  • Must have completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology

  • Maintains the Standards set by the American Psychological Association regarding treatment procedure and professional ethics

  • Obtains/maintains Basic Life Support Certification (CPR)

  • Passes annual safety tests
