Job description

Lead Physician  -  Population Health / Value Based Care
Interested in joining an integrated Healthcare organization that is known for their patient centered approach, focused on value based care? Are you an experienced Primary Care Physician that has helped treat a variety of complex chronic/co-occurring conditions?
Do you want to care for a diverse, underserved patient population? Are you looking for an unmatched work/life balance, where there is a low patient volume (8-12/day)?
A state of the art, Primary Care Medical Center/Patient Centered Medical Home located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Lead Primary Care Physician to join their growing team. This role will be ~50% clinical/~50% administrative.
This organization offers a wide variety of in-house services such as:
  • In-house Pharmacy
  • IV and Infusion treatment
  • Diagnostic testing
  • Transportation door to door
  • Psychiatrist services for Behavioral/Mental Health and Substance Abuse patients
  • Psychologist on staff

Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5 pm, 1 hour for lunch
  • NO weekends, evenings or holidays required!
Compensation: $250,000-$280,000/yr, dependent on experience, plus a 10% performance bonus

Lead Physician Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting of nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, social workers, RN case managers, medical assistants, administrative staff, etc.
  • Supervise and coach a team of Nurse Practitioners as they provide primary care services for an underserved/at-risk population
  • Provide primary care services to a panel of members
  • Oversee clinical staff development and performance
  • Help reduce preventable ER visits and hospitalizations

Qualifications:
  • An active medical license in the state of Ohio
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • 5+ years of experience as a Primary Care Physician
  • Desire to work with the underserved
