Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  A Guest Services Associate ensures a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable experience for all guests attending Legacy Arena events. This role includes supporting box office operations, assisting with seating and directions, and providing high-level service to VIPs, suite guests, and special visitors. 
PAY GRADE:  $16.50 per hour
FLSA STATUS:  Non-Exempt
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Temporary Work - Must be at least 16 years of age.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:  High School or College Student
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED:  None
Key Responsibilities: 











Greet guests warmly and provide directions to seating areas, restrooms, concessions, and exits 

Scan and verify tickets, assist with seating, and manage crowd flow in assigned sections 

Support box office operations, including ticket sales, will call, and resolving ticketing issues 

Assist VIPs, suite holders, and special guests with entry, seating, and personalized service 

Monitor guest areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to venue policies 

Respond to guest questions, concerns, or issues in a professional and timely manner 

Provide support during emergencies by following venue procedures and guiding guests safely 

Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain a smooth and organized environment 

Hospitality & Suite Support: 

Welcome guests to premium seating areas and hospitality suites 

Check credentials and ensure proper access to restricted areas 

 Assist with guest needs in suites, including directions, basic service support, and coordination with catering staff 

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in VIP areas Skills & Qualifications: 

Strong customer service and communication skills 

Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor 

Ability to remain calm and helpful in high-traffic, fast-paced environments 

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions and venue procedures 

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 

Preferred (Optional): 

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event staffing 

Experience handling ticketing systems or guest relations 

Experience working with VIP or high-profile guests
