Location: Carver Rehabilitation & Living Center – Durham, NC
Schedule: Full-Time | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Carver Rehabilitation & Living Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who prefer a focused overnight environment and are looking for stability, strong teamwork, and career growth.

Position Overview

As an RN on our night shift team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical care, supporting the nursing team, and ensuring the highest standards of resident care are maintained overnight.


Responsibilities
  • Provide and oversee direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes appropriately
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on shift
  • Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members as needed
  • Ensure a safe and compliant care environment

Schedule
  • Full-Time Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
  • Previous long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
