Cardiovascular Technologist (EP Lab)

Professional Type: Allied Health Professional

Specialty: Cardio Vascular Technologist (EP Lab)

Contract Type: Long-Term (13 weeks)

Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 40 hours/week

No weekends or on-call

Rate: $80.00 – $85.00 per hour

Position Summary:

Join a high-volume Electrophysiology (EP) lab specializing in complex ablations utilizing Carto and Ensite mapping systems, including Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) technology. This unit also performs implanted device procedures such as pacemakers and loop recorders.

  • Unit Size: 2 EP labs

  • Staffing Ratio: 2 technologists and 1–2 RNs per case (depending on case complexity)

  • Daily Case Volume: 2–6 cases across two rooms

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification for Interventional Technologists or

  • RCES/RCIS certification for Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (Either pathway is acceptable)

  • Minimum 1 year of electrophysiology experience — OR — 3+ years of interventional experience

  • Preferred:

    • EP lab experience

    • CVT background with RCES certification

    • Interventional technologist background with ARRT certification
